Intentional Activity:

Fancy Dinner

Pick a night, the entire family gets dressed in their nicest clothes...then you all meet in the kitchen with as fancy of decorations desired. Take pictures, light candles, play music, and have a fancy meal together in your home.

The idea is to break up the normal and to enjoy a fun night doing something fun and off the beaten path. How many times can you count actually getting gussied up as a family? Three piece suit? Beautiful dress? Dapper clothes and princess dresses for little ones? It is fun to use some things that don't get a lot of miles. This activity is to challenge the mind set that you have to go somewhere, pay a decent amount of money to have a fancy dinner. What better than changing the pace right in your own castle. Your children will enjoy seeing it and you in a different light.
