As a husband of 13 years and father of 3, I have a passion for faith, family, and fatherhood and a continual desire to learn and improve. This site is as much for me as it is anyone else.

The Intentional Father is a passion project I greatly enjoy working on. The effort is continually growing, but if nothing else comes of it, it has been worth the time, money, and effort for the growth I have personally experienced as a Man, Husband, and Father.

After growing up in Scottsbluff Nebraska with a love of the outdoors in fishing, hunting, camping, skiing, and a plethora of athletic events, Jerod served five years active duty in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman from 2004 to 2009.
After the military, he went on to earn his Bachelor's, then Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
Jerod is the father of three beautiful children and married to his best friend Kristina for 15 years. He takes the greatest joy in serving, fostering, and learning from his family and attempts to continuously strive for positive living for him self and those around him.
