As a Christian and as the Bible teaches, I believe the father is the one responsible for the soul of his child.

"These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."

Deuteronomy 6:6-9

How are you to bring your children to God if you do not first have your own relationship with Christ? Let the information found on this page encourage you in your walk with Jesus. For it will not just be to the benefit of you or your children, but your children's children, their children, and so on. No matter where you came from, who you were, or what you've done, you are exactly where the Lord wants you and he is ready to meet you there with love. "The Lord is near the brokenhearted; He saves those crushed in spirit." Psalms 34:18

"Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and I have all founded empires. But on what did we rest the creations of our genius? Upon force. Jesus Christ founded his empire on love; and at this hour millions of men would die for him."

- Napoleon Bonaparte

The Skeptic's Resources

The Skeptics Resources

Time and again, the more a skeptic or atheist dives into researching the validity and history of Christianity, they tend to become a Christian or gain a stronger foothold within the Christian faith. This is because history, not just the Bible but secular historical accounts, corroborate the stories of the Bible and Jesus Christ. Jewish archaeologist, Nelson Glueck once said:

"It may be stated categorically that no archeological discovery has ever contradicted a biblical reference".

Below are resources that support the Bible, creation, and Jesus through scientific & historical evidence.

Challenging Christianity

The Problem of God

Answering a Skeptic's Challenges to Christianity

Mark Clark

The Problem of God is one of the most impressive books I have ever read. This is primarily due to the amount of research completed and craftfully articulated throughout the book. Each chapter is packed with historical references, interviews, book quotes, etc. In total, there are 267 references (Notes P.251-267). What is even more fascinating, is that large number of these are non-Christian references. Author Mark Clark dives deep into Christian critics, theories, and the references that are used to disprove Christianity. He then digs to the root of each opposing idea or thought to determine how or where it originated, how it has propagated throughout history to become what it is today, and how history, the bible, or archeological studies have already disproved it.

If you are a Christian that struggles with skeptical feelings about any part of your faith, an atheist that wants to see why us crazy Christians believe what we do, or anywhere in between, this is an excellent and must read book for you.

Creation & the Bible

Creation Ministries International.jpg

Mission: To support the effective proclamation of the Gospel by providing credible answers that affirm the reliability of the Bible, in particular its Genesis history.

For over five decades, the Institute for Creation Research has equipped believers with evidence of the Bible's accuracy and authority through scientific research, educational programs, and media presentations, all conducted within a thoroughly biblical framework.

At the Institute for Creation Research, we want you to know God’s Word can be trusted with everything it speaks about - from how and why we were made, to how the universe was formed, to how we can know God and receive all He has planned for us.

That’s why ICR scientists have spent more than 50 years researching scientific evidence that refutes evolutionary philosophy and confirms the Bible’s account of a recent and special creation. We regularly receive testimonies from around the world about how ICR’s cutting-edge work has impacted thousands of people with God’s creation truth.

Is Genesis History? features over a dozen scientists and scholars explaining how the world intersects with the history recorded in Genesis.  From rock layers to fossils, from lions to stars, from the Bible to artifacts, this fascinating film will change the way you see the world.

The film’s goal is to provide a reasonable case for Creation in six normal days, a real Adam and Eve, an actual fall, a global flood, and a tower of Babel. Dr. Del Tackett, creator of The Truth Project, serves as your guide—hiking through canyons, climbing up mountains, and diving below the sea—in an exploration of two competing views … one compelling truth.

Leading Your Famliy

Leading Your Family

As a Father, it is important to not only know and understand the Bible and teachings of Jesus, but also to live a life that favors Christ through our thoughts, words, and actions. In addition, we must be able to teach and lead our families closer to God.

"As the God-ordained leader of your home, the primary responsibility for the training and rearing of children is also on the shoulders of their father. . .Both the Old and New Testaments commission dads specifically to train up their kids and lead them toward spiritual maturity and success in life."

- The Resolutions for Men (p.76)

In the June 2003 issue of Touchstone magazine, an article was written that discussed, in depth, the significance of the Father's role in a household as it pertains to his children and their faith.

It is written by Robbie Low, a vicar of St. Peter's in the Church of England, on the importance of Fathers to Churchgoing.

In short, the numbers are staggering. "...if a father does not go to church, no matter how faithful his wife's devotions, only one child in 50 will become a regular worshipper. If a father does go regularly, regardless of the practice of the mother, between two-thirds and three-quarters of their children will become churchgoers."
